No Router Question
Well-I got tired of getting dropped and firewalled so i ditched the 2 routers for now. I am directly connected through my cable modem. Will this affect my speed (hopefully in a positive way?) since I am not going through a firewall?

No. You will still get exactly what your ISP promised you (and what you will get on a speed test). They will cap you with what they promised you. You will get no more than that.

My test speeds were great. I guess I was just wondering if it would affect it negatively. Everyone else seems to be using a router.

routers are only for the convenience of wireless, nothing more. and that's one less thing you have to worry about when un-firewalling yourself.
