EAC Spectral view.

So, we know the spectral display isnīt accurate. ssamadhi97 mentioned that this is caused by some aliasing effect.
This sounds like a spanish village to me.
Anyway I started a thread over at the EAC forum asking if this could be improved.
But I havenīt got the knowledge about how it should be. Does changing the colors help solving this problem?

Please help. Have a look:

Not at all. It's an algorithm / implementation issue that causes content from the lowest frequencies to be "reflected" at the top of the spectrum.

Look at the pic you posted on the EAC forum - see how the content in the 16-22kHz range looks like a faint flipped image of the lower frequency ranges? Nothing different colouring could fix / make go away at all.

Re: EAC Spectral view.

thanks for taking this to the folks at EAC

the whole "Process WAV" section is weak by comparison to their perfect ripping "engine"
