Lossy or Lossless !?!?!?!?!?!?
It's me, back again with another edition of lossy or lossless. These are all AUD recordings except for the 11-25-77 show, which is a SBD. I'm fairly sure that one is fine, but need to be totally sure.

These all exhibit flyback noise @ 16kHz from someone's CRT during transfer... and the 11-25-77 audio is lossy digital compression, I;m pretty sure - likely mp3.
could you post 3-4 sec wide SA samples for all three, please?

Ok, I zoomed in 3 sec on them, hopefully I did it right. I left off the 11-25-77 show because I already know it's lossy. I also added a 3rd show I got, 8-23-85.

none of those looks good to me... I'd be curious to have a listen to a FLAC sample via rapidshare/similar of the first one (3-11-86). the others look lossy to me, too abrupt of a cutoff for any other explanation that I can think of.

yeah, it's hard to say for sure.. they don't look right, but they aren't the epitome of mp3, either... could you upload some FLACs?
