hi there... newby needs help!

I'm new here, do you have a beginners faq? I know about bittorrent, flac & shn, but I'm curious how to contact members, and forum desciptions, etc...

I have been in the tape trading scene for about a decade, but I'm still picking up on the particulars of individual forums.

HELP! (please)

Re: hi there... newby needs help!

you can access the various sections of the site FAQ from the handy FAQ menu in the main bar at the top of each page.

Main page is here: http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/faq.php

welcome to the Den!

Re: hi there... newby needs help!

if you click on a user's name there is an option for sending a private message. then when you get messages you can view them from the 'private messages' link always at the upper-right. up at the top of every page there's a bunch of links, you can set up personal preferences and stuff in the 'user cp'.

there's not really much documentation of what the forums are, just look around and read a couple threads here and there and post back here if you don't understand what's going on in one place or another.

welcome aboard
