looks kinda lossy to me. perhaps a bootlegged radio broadcast? a lot of those are lossy in origin, although to the best of my knowledge as long as thats the best quality liberated, it's okay on lossless trackers. I might be wrong though.

Considering where the cutoff is (which makes it look lossy) I'd guess either this is a result of the recording process (equipment) or it was heavily filtered in the higher range.

its and audince tape, so no radio broadcast

and it was recorded in 1974 so not recorded on something like a mini disc

This is an exemplary model of audio that has been through a lossy codec. It's quite ugly.

Whatever else may have happened during recording, it definitely got treated with lossy data compression afterward.
