Firewalled after port forwarding
I'm on a high speed connection & use bittorrent on a PC. About a week ago, I downloaded some stuff from a different site at great speeds.
Now I'm here and it says I'm firewalled. I do the port forwarding thing (linksys router), make sure windows firewall is turned off. Still firewalled, and my speed is waay low (dl 20 KB/s and ul 0-2 KB/s) Can anyone think of what I'm doing wrong here? I was cruising a week ago with 90 KB/s dl and high uploads (I have a great ratio at that site) but now it sucks! Thanks in advance. Edit: Well, I'm around 60 KB/s, but I still can't figure out how to be unfirewalled. Edit2: Unfiredwalled for now. How weird. I think part of the problem is I'm on WRT54G version 5 which doesn't allow for many 3rd party firmware upgrades (which allow you to turn off the firewall). I unchecked most of the boxes on the firewall for linksys, so we'll see how this goes. No members have liked this post.
