Re: trouble burning dvd

Shouldn't be the Sony's. I have a Lite-On dvd burner and it loves Sony's even more than the Maxell's I also have used. Sony's are amony the top-rated dvd blanks.

I can't tell you what you're problem is. Dumb question but it's probably something I would do - did you accidentally put the dvd blank in the Lite-On LTN486?

Re: trouble burning dvd

Re: trouble burning dvd

homebrew & mamba, thank you both for your help... I updated the firmware for my drive, and then just finish burning a dvd without any problems.

Much thanks goes out to both and the entire tdd.org staff

Try "Video Lan Client" also known as VLC. It's free and powerful.

NERO 7 Question about Menus

Ok so I dload a video from a torrent and it has a menu.

How do I use the menu in Nero 7?

This is driving me crazy! I have never burned a dvd so I am trying to figure this out.. For some reason when I want to make my own video it keeps taking me a menu edit screen (like if wants to make a generic menu).

How do I insert the menu that comes with the dloaded video? I have been looking at all the options and I don't get it.

Video_TS where do I put it to make it all work?

Re: NERO 7 Question about Menus

you are using the wrong program. You need to use Nero xpress, not vision express. and everything will make sense. You don't need to make your own menus. They are already contained in the video_ts folder. Just choose dvd video and drag the video_ts you downloaded onto the video_ts folder and click burn.

Re: NERO 7 Question about Menus

like Saltman said, use Nero xpress or Nero Burning ROM...the program yer using is trying to author a DVD, not burn one that's already authored, and you definitely DON'T want to reauthor it

mac/toast problem: 2 VIDEO_TS files (not folders)

Hey,

I'm just getting into burning DVD's. I just finished downloading the Phish Miami DVD. The download is split into two folders: set 1 and set 2. Each folder has its own VIDEO_TS files in it. How do I work with this in Toast to burn 1 DVD? I've been searching around here without any luck.

JR

Re: mac/toast problem: 2 VIDEO_TS files (not folders)

I would think you would have to burn that to 2 discs. A dvd can only have one video_ts folder.
