The means of transportation has changed slightly, the nature of people has not. If people want to share, they will. If they don't, they won't. Why get your panties in a wad over it? Just a small point to make, but this site is now over three years old and we've never had a share ratio policy and shows seem to be sticking around pretty long (usually). Sure, we have some users who hit and run, but I also know we have some users who go above and beyond to share as much as possible.

Seeders of fresh content should get double upload credit. The original seeder is like the chef, and the people who hang on the torrent are like waiters. So chefs with low ratios should get free drinks and valet parking.

tell you what -
for every 1 MB you upload, you'll get full credit on your upload number, with ZERO added to your download number - provided you are only uploading at the time.
