ripped me off 16 dvds! and ripped off others too
so
this is the way he usually does:
the only way to get dvds from him is to make him send first and if you do get anything from him - u are lucky
if he says that he sends out at the same time with you - you will never get anything
and if you send first forget about your dvds for ever. u'll never hear from him.
when he rippes a lot of ppl he changes site and mail and continues in the same manner!

beware of him! and warn all others traders!

i'll put his name all over the internet. 'coz i hate such ******!

I too had problems with this guy:
The first trade was ok (he sent first). At the second trade I sent him 5 dvds, and he sent nothing.
I saw his name on many bad trader lists, so never send first to this guy! From time to time he changes his website and email address.
I think it is important that people know that he is from Mexico, Puebla.

Hi everyone,

did anyone trade with Gerardo (Ruben Alfaro) from Mexico before?

His name is Gerardo, but the name in his email is Ruben Alfaro.

On the 4th of july he contacted me for a 19 dvd trade (of which 18 were my masters) and in his first reply to my requests he asked me to send simultaneously. I haven't traded with him before, so I sticked to my rule and waited for his package to arrive. He said he would send out on july 9th but I never received anything.

I send him several emails to ask what's going on, but no reply at all. It's been more than a month now, and it all sounds very fishy to me.

So I asked my trading buddies in my e-mail group if they knew him and 4 of them had bad experiences with him!!!

Thanks for the heads-up. But you yourself were never ripped off by this person, right? You asked him to send first and then you never heard from him again? If that's the case, it seems more like a "questionable" trader rather than a "bad" one.

i have traded with him once and everything´s went ok, i had the same doubt about the different names, but i must say as a guard he sent me first!!!, so if you want to trade ask him to send first, ´cause there´s a lot of mexican bad traders

Klingklang, you're right, so I changed the post into "questionable". I talked to some of my buddies who were either ripped off or had bad experiences with him (lying about sending date, no shipping at all, using different names to mask his bad reputation), so that leads me to believe he's a bad trader. I'm glad I sticked to my rule not to send out simultaneously as I didn't trade with him before.

Ruben/Gerardo/Abel Gorx (another name you use,yes...), if you read this, get in touch, send me the g*dd*mn discs...but don't hide yourself. You have disappointed me and buddies of mine, and probably many others, but you won't fool me.

Thanks Sanne, I am questionable about Mexican traders. Especially whats going on there now I wont even think of trading with anyone there.

Thanks for the reply, Sanne. It's definitely a good thing you stuck with your rule about making a new trader send to you first, otherwise it sounds as if you would have been ripped off. And thanks to morbid666 for links (sounds like you had a bad experience too).
