k3b/cdrdao/cdrecord problem

k3b is not writing a proper toc when burning audio cds..the discs will burn and play BUT if I try to skip to a particular track when playing it dont work..example put cd in player and select track 3 nothing happens however if I just play the disc it will play straight thru

I've had that problem too. (SuSE 9.3 Pro BTW). The solution I found was to manually select DAO instead of leaving it at Auto. YMMV.
