MKV Files

I have an MKV file of the music portion of a TV show. If I put it on a DVD, could I then upload it here, or no?

Containers like HD DivX, .EVO, MP4, .TP, and Toshiba HD structured videos are not permitted on this site.
I have read the faq about this and I'm no video mod but my guess would be that also your container format [MKV] isn't allowed here, but I'm sure that one of the video mods will respond to your question.
