ratio problem

it seemed that my ratio in the upper right corner wasnt keeping up with what i've been uploading so i ran a test. i wrote down my ratio then uploaded a gig. it went from 36.56 to 36.61. shouldnt it be at 37.56? maybe i dont understand how the numbers work. can someone explain? thanx

there's a number of reasons why yer ratio might not be updating accurately...check this thread for more info:
