i was just wondering if this app plays nice with the tracker its a linux torrent app that ive been using for a while i dont want to get black listed

Hmmm, I don't know. I don't really keep up with reading about all clients. But, if you are still able to see the site, then I guess you haven't been blacklisted.

If you do find you can't see the site for more than a day (we should be bacck up within a day if something 'happens' to the server), then send an email to and ask me if it's you or the server. Oh, and let me know your IP if you think it's you so I can check our banned ips.

I've used KTorrent in the past with no problems with the tracker here (or anywhere else, for that matter). Personally, I prefer Azureus, and once I figured out how to get that running properly on Ubuntu I ditched KTorrent, but I don't think you'll have any problems with it.
