Trouble getting video_ts files into iMovie
So I've tried converting video_ts into mp4, but iMovie still won't accept the new mp4 file. I'm pretty sure this is due to the dvd chapters. Is there a good/easy to use program for Mac that will allow me to cut out the chapters and make it iMovie friendly? If not, is there another easy to use movie editing program for mac that will accept dvd video with chapters? Thanks

Re: Trouble getting video_ts files into iMovie
not sure why you'd need to edit the VIDEO_TS files, they are already authored and just need to be burned to watch
but if yer intent on editing, basically you can demux the .vob files using a program like ffmpegx...once demuxed you'll have a video stream [.m2v] and an audio stream [PCM wav or .ac3 or .mp2 most likely], which you can import into iMovie or other editing program No members have liked this post.
