Have you considered BiglyBT? It has more features than QBT and there's a plug-in that allows you to import from uTorrent...

Looks cool, but unfortunately it's not whitelisted (at least not yet) on some trackers I use. Transmission and qBittorrent seem to be the all around options among with uTorrent (dont' want to switch to a newer version of uTorrent).

With qBittorrent, keep in mind it will sometimes go into a speed loop when more than like 7 torrents are being downloaded simultaneously. Full speed briefly, then gradually slowing to zero speed, and then the cycle repeats.

qBittorrent is one of the best for seeding as long as you set Filepool to like 150 and shutdown cleanly. I think the latest version has Filepool set to 100 which should be ok (it used to be 5000 and caused a huge memory leak when seeding).
