How to add videos from here to an Android phone?
Is there a way to transfer videos like the ones downloaded here (ones with a VIDEO_TS folder of video files) to my Android phone? I've got a Samsung Galaxy S3 and I've been using a program called Free DVD Converter to convert dvd's to go on my phone, but it won't accept non-dvd videos. I've got a bunch of downloaded videos that I haven't gotten around to burning to dvd yet, so if I could convert and transfer those without having to burn to dvd it would save me a lot of time.

Re: How to add videos from here to an Android phone?
A normal DVD consists of two folders, (an empty) AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS, may be your program is missing the AUDIO_TS folder, so try adding an empty AUDIO_TS folder. If you want you can also create an EXTRAS_TS folder where you can store the md5's, artwork, text etc.

Re: How to add videos from here to an Android phone?
I tried makemkv and it had the same problem that the program that I was using had. I'm looking for a program that will convert the contents of a VIDEO_TS folder on my computer into an mp4 or mkv without having to burn the show to dvd first.

From what I see at http://developer.android.com/guide/a...a-formats.html it looks like you'd probably want h.264 codec with Baseline profile in mp4 container.Try HandBrake http://handbrake.fr/ Tell it what folder to read from and it treats it like a DVD. However, it's free and works with Windows, Mac, and Linux No members have liked this post.

Re: How to add videos from here to an Android phone?
My mistake. I had uninstalled makemkv so I re-installed it to see what you were laughing about, and it turns out that the show that I was trying to convert was just a single .ts file and makemkv didn't recognize it, so I assumed that it didn't recognize the contents of any VIDEO_TS files. I haven't used makemkv to convert anything yet, but it does recognize the contents of other VIDEO_TS folders on my computer. Thanks for the help!

Re: How to add videos from here to an Android phone?
This should do the job:
download: http://www.ilikemall.com/how-to/conv...o-mov-mac.html Converts everything into everything, and has default settings to convert your downloaded videos for Samsung S3. BTW, generally, you can convert your videos to mp4, a widely accepted file around devices/programs. No members have liked this post.
