Re: Best burning software

I use ONES for almost everything. On my system though it won't do DAO. Other burning software does, but not ONES. So for DAO I use Burrrn. Together they do everything I need.

Re: Best burning software

Exact Audio Copy is the best for burning audio CDs IMO and it is free. The write offset can be corrected, it has error correcting extraction, the read offset can be corrected, and it is the only audio CD ripper for windows that is allowed for ripping bootleg silver CDs to be seeded here. It can't burn data CDs, data DVDs, DVD-video or DVD-audio though.

Re: Best burning software

I agree, EAC for audio cdrs is unsurpassed.

for data (also playable data dvds) burning I've been using Nero for ages, but slowly getting used to imgburn and trying out a couple other things. a lot of new free burning progs have shown up in the last couple years, around 4yrs ago I was hunting for one and they were very very scarce.

Have used it for years. rips, splits, corrects, burns.

What more can you ask for?

I think that alters some files which would change the fingerprint, which is not good because then your copy is different from the one that was seeded. Don't you have to have burning software installed to use DVD Shrink to burn? I would just use Nero or whatever burning software you have. As mentioned above, ONES and IMG Burn (free) are excellent.
