storage
hi
Wonder what people are choosing for storage and backup, portable or desktop? http://www.seagate.com/ca/en/consume...kup-plus-desk/ http://www.seagate.com/ca/en/consume...p/backup-plus/ or maybe a NAS? I have a Dell XPS with 2 x USB type C ports and so far industry has failed to properly support it. tks No members have liked this post.

Re: storage
I don't remember what it was exactly, but I vaguely remember reading comments on a tech website somewhere that Seagate hard drives aren't all that reliable. I've been using WD hard drives for a few years now and haven't had any problems with them. I'm still using a Windows 7 desktop and I've got four WD My Book hard drives connected to it--a 1 gig, a 2 gig, a 3 gig, and a 4 gig. I bought them over a period of several years, so it's just a coincidence that they're 1, 2, 3, and 4, gigabytes.

Hey JackDog how did you get 660+ gigs to fit on 10 gigs of hard drives ?
