I am fully aware of the site, but my setup currently cannot handle trackerless torrents, and a lot of their posts still redirect back to here.

So I got a message from my buddy recovering from 'rona2024, and he just signed up here and has to wait 48 hours before he can post - spambot cool off period? Parts of our chat are quoted below until he can talk here... Anyway, there is some hope, but it will need to be a bit of a team effort, gang!

so it looks like i have to wait 48 hours to post. i would be interested in the PHP and server stuff, not the admin/content stuff.
i sent a note the "webmaster":

he's had many offers. but the key is he likely needs more than one person, and they need to coordinate at some level

...as long as the division of labour and responsabilities is well defined

So, folks, there is hope alive! I think we're going to need some new team members to do day to day admin things and of course it will either happen or not happen, but it could keep on happening here! It can. I'm not sure how we all can co-ordinate this but let's try! I can be a part of it - maybe you can, too!
