Burning 24 bit files

i dnlded a 24 bit flac file (dvd audio). im not sure what to do with it. my dvd player plays dvd audio disks for sure. im assuming that i would encode the flac file to wav, but then im stumped after that. im not sure how to burn them to play the audio. do i burn it like a regular audio disk, but using a dvdr instead of a cdr, or do i burn it as a dvd? i use ONES app to burn disks. im sittin on a bunch of em' and would really appreciate some help cause ive been dying to listen to some of em'. thanks
jim

Re: Burning 24 bit files

If you want to burn it as a regular audio CD, then you need to down sample it to 16-bit. I learned how to do this using Quicktime (on a Mac), but my guess is you are a PC user? Have you done a search in this forum on it? I'm pretty sure I've seen it talked about before, I just don't remember how to do it. Maybe another PC user will come by with some quick easy instructions.
