24 bit flac using nero help please?
I downloaded one of Lou's beauties....a VH Montreal show. I prefer burning to cdr but Nero will not accept this because it is 24 bit...I was told to download r8brain to make the 24 bit smaller but it will not let me add the files....I know there's something I am doing wrong....any ways around this? Thanks!

Re: 24 bit flac using nero help please?
Download FLAC Frontend http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html
or Trader's Little Helper and decode to .wav, then add the files to r8brain. Use batch mode (so you can get them all done at once, it will take at least an hour), very high quality, and 16 bit, 44,100 sample rate to convert to CD quality so you can burn CDs. You can also archive the 24 bit FLACs on data DVD for future use. No members have liked this post.

Re: 24 bit flac using nero help please?
OK, now that you have all of them decoded, open r8brain and hit browse and select the first .wav. Set 'resample to' 44,100, output bit depth to 16, use 'very high quality', then click 'batch', then click 'r8brain batch' It will take a while, at least an hour. And as I said before, you may want to archive the 24 bit FLACs for future use.
