Audio Codec

I recently downloaded g love and the special sauce video from Athens and the aduio comes out to nothing but static. Videos fine. anyone know what i'm lacking to play it?

Not sure. It is a wav file. Everything plays that.


Try using VLC to play your movie. It is free. http://www.videolan.org/

What are you trying to play it with? Are you using a DVD playing application such as vlc? (videolan.org)

It looks like the audio on this DVD is 24 bit? If so, you might lack the appropriate hardware for 24 bit playback.

Is 24 bit audio possible as an LPCM track of a DVD? I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't be...

K-Lite comes with most known codecs and is normally quite reliable
