Re: Which TV-Card?

What are you looking to do? Watch TV, record TV, archive shows, watch HDTV or all or some of the above?

Also in Feb 2009, analog is dead and you will need a digital TV tuner if you reside in the US.

Do some searches on the Hauppauge tuner that covers your needs. Something in the hybrid video recorder section should cover you well.

Re: Which TV-Card?

I have Technotrend TT S2-3200 and it's currently the best DVB-S card available. It's handles DVB-S2, High Definition broadcasts. The card comes with a software but it's a crap imo, hence you would need to buy DVB Viewer (19 Eur) to make a perfect combo. Unlike freeware programs, DVB Viewer has true/full support for new BDA protocol ($ licensed) on which TT is based.
