anyone use Pinnacle Studio 9 for DVDs

anyone use Pinnacle Studio 9 to author dvds...i have used Pinnacle a very long time ago when vcds were popular but the qulality transfer was not the greatest IMO...has the 9 version inproved alot..?? any thoughts would be great..

i prefer Macs for video editing/authoring, so no i haven't, but have heard good and bad...i think its a "decent" program for editing/menus, but not its compressors...they've made improvements but its stil not up there with Premiere or Avid...

from what i hear round here from the PC kids, Sony Vegas+DVD Prod suite is the best...
