reseeds

I was recently ask to reseed a King Crimson show. How do I go about it? Can I just upload the flac file I downloaded, or do I need to create a lineage, textfile etc..or will the contents of the flacfile I currently have be sufficeint?

It depends. Sometimes people use the term 'reseed' to mean seed a torrent that is already on the tracker. If that is the case, you just download the torrent file from here and point it towards the folder you have on your harddrive that has the flac files (along with the text file and all other files you downloaded).

If the torrent is no longer on the tracker, then you simply follow the directions for putting a show up on the tracker. Since flac files are lossless, you do not need to change the lineage to show that you had put the flac files onto another disc and then back onto your harddrive. You should find the show in our Inactive forum and reference it on the upload page (there is an area to check a box that says "reseed" and then an area to put the url of the old show) so that people can see the comments from before.
