New to burning video DLs, help!

I am kinda new to this so maybe this is an old problem.

I download video boots fine. Go IN the folder and click the vts file to view on PC. fine!
Burn the entire folder to dvd fine... but the dvd won't play on one of my players, PC won't recognize it... and when i try to get "into" the folder on the disc... it doesn't show on my pc as a folder.

Am wondering why it won't get recognized now by pc and won't play on one player?
Hope it's a simple fix.
thanks
B

Re: New to burning video DLs, help!

I use CDburnerxp.
The dvd plays fine on my LG dvd player / recorder... but not PC or other player.

I figured I should be able to go to my computer and see the files on disc... but can't.
I think I may be doing something wrong somewhere.
thanks

Re: New to burning video DLs, help!

is the show Dual Layer [DVD9]?
what type of disc format did you burn as: DVD-Video, DVD-ROM(ISO), DVD-ROM(UDF), etc. ?

i'm not familiar with that program, but typically the freeware burning progs leave alot to be desired -- atleast thats what i've heard [i run a Mac with Toast so its easy ]...also, have you checked their drive compatability page:
http://www.cdburnerxp.se/testeddrives.php

you might wanna think about finding a more reliable program...hands down, ONES is the best prog for windows i've seen/used, and its only 20bucks or so
