Re: Report all ratio issues here

Reggie, that probably happened when we changed trackers and there was an error going on for a bit. I checked your stats prior to that and they were 75GB/ 92 GB . You are about double that on download now, so I'll just double what your upload was and change it to that. So, you'll end up at 150 GB / 182 GB, OK?

Re: Report all ratio issues here

Hey Pint, are you sure the problem is recent and not from prior to the tracker change? Since we've changed trackers and gone to a passkey system, if you download the torrent with your current username, you should be getting credit (unless it's a show from the old, old tracker, of course). If you are sure you aren't getting credit, I'd love more info (OS, bt client, ISP situation, etc, so I can figure out what is going on).

Re: Report all ratio issues here

Yeah I definately wasn't getting credit. It's a new torrent that I upped myself within the last week. Im running win XP using Azerous, Comcast, nonfirewalled. Like I said not really a big deal just not sure what was going on. Im going to be changing ISP whithin a couple days so we'll see what that brings.

Re: Report all ratio issues here

Want to report a recent problem, well after the July switch up. The Sublime dvd torrent I uploaded about a week ago, my uTorrent reported that I seeded 4 gigs from that upload, yet I'm only shown as 2.03. I couldn't possibly only be 2.03 gigs b/c the dvd I uploaded was 2.5 gigs, & I have no reason to believe my program was inaccurate in displaying that I actually uploaded 4

SensifiedRasta, that is strange. I'll credit you with 4 GB.

Well, don't forget that 1 TB = 1024 GB.

So, .98TB is really .98*1024 or 1004 GB which makes your ratio approx 1004/271= 3.70 or so. Now that you are in the TBs, you gotta work harder to make that upload number change.

Re: Report all ratio issues here

Lynne, I'm on this torrent:

http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/...ad.php?t=25793

I finished the download and I think I had upped to 1.049 share when I stopped it/closed it, to burn a few discs off the pc. When I open it again, it went back to 0, not to what I had originally shared. Now it says on the torrent box that I've upped 2893MiB and when you look at my profile, under the "current activity on tracker" it says that I've only upped 736KB. I'm going to keep seeding this for a while longer but hate to see 8+ GB not be credited.

Judy, if you stop a torrent and then start it again, the Peers List (and the show stats in your profile) will only show how much you have uploaded/downloaded during the current session (since you restarted the torrent). So, I'm sure you were credited your 8 GB when you closed the torrent originally (actually, you get credited every 30 minutes or however often your bittorrent clients talks to the tracker).

Re: Report all ratio issues here

the torrent box usually keeps a running total and this time it went back to "0". This is why I ask, it's never done that before. I don't want to not do my share is all and looking at the stats freaked me out a bit.

I'll take your word for it though
