need help - sped up tapes

Hello, I have a problem, I recorded some tapes from my deck to the comp via line in of the soundcard. i realized that 2 of them are slightly sped up and i wonder how to fix it. i use Adobe Audition 1.5 for editing wav's would be good if someone could give me some tips on how to set the setting for slowing down without getting shitty resuts. I played around a bit but never succeeded, always sounds like shit afterward + it's slower than i want it to be. they're just slightly speed u so no big deal. any help is appreciated. thanks No members have liked this post. |

you're welcome... in audition its in effects>time/pitch>stretch. make sure you use 'resample' mode with 'high precision'. if you get stuck just post back

Find someone who has an open-reel recorder with varispeed that you can use Dub your recording onto open reel Use the varispeed to correct it, and dub back to PC or whatever ================= Only works if you can accept the slight generation loss of going through the open-reel.
