I think what he means is a site where you can get a look at, say, July 10, 2007 and see a list of every show going on for that date listing each band and the venue? If so, I have never seen something like that. It sounds like it would be a huge effort for someone.

Pollstar is good. You can search by area/city/band/venue etc. Check it out.

Now I am at a loss as what to suggest. At pollstar search by artists that you like and see what thier itineraries are for the rest of thier tour.

Re: Is there a website for concerts that...

how about our old friend - Ticketmaster

the search link will find most any band by date - if you enter a location it limits the search

..still dont understand the question - but that never stopped me before

Re: Is there a website for concerts that...

if you use iTunes you can get the iConcertCal plugin that does exactly this any artist you have in your iTunes library for concerts within a 300 mile radius of your a location. You can also manually add other artists. It uses multiple online databases.

Also some of the online music db's like last.fm have similar calendaring resources.

Re: Is there a website for concerts that...

Just about every listing I can think of is market-specific, organized by artist, venue or geographical area. Nothing consolidated by dates worldwide.

Try www.jambase.com and only enter a date leaving all other fields blank. It will give you a list alphabetically by city.

Re: Is there a website for concerts that...

I like using this one I found recently
http://www.tourfilter.com/homepage

Quote:
Tourfilter searches club websites and sends you email when your favorite bands come to town
We used to miss too many shows -- we'd hear about them after tickets they sold out, or worse, read about them in the Globe the day after. Maybe even in the Metro (oh, the shame!)

So we wrote a program to download all the area club listings daily, search for bands we liked, then send out email. That's Tourfilter. And it's not just for us, it's for everyone (chances are, we're in your city or coming soon).

In short, Tourfilter has tools to:

Track as many bands as you can think of and send you an email when a show is announced.
Combine your friends' calendars into one place.
Listen to tens of thousands of MP3 and RealAudio tracks by bands with upcoming shows.
Browse recent music blog listings, organized by band.
Get show updates via RSS and iCal.

You'll never get spam from Tourfilter. And humans keep an eye on things to make sure the shows Tourfilter finds are the ones you're looking for.

In case you haven't noticed, Tourfilter is a work in progress. Please email us (info at tourfilter) with feedback, suggestions or issues!
