need help burning dvd's

Am new to burning dvd's & need some help. I just bought a EZ-Dub dvd writer, & am running windows xp. . I can burn dvd's, but my dvd player will not read them. Do I need to convert the files to another program or format. And if so, what is the best, easiest, free program to use. ****edited by staff****

Re: need help burning dvd's

Are the DVD's you are burning PAL or NTSC? Can you player read both PAL & NTSC?

Also, please do not ask about copyrighted stuff. That is NOT what this site is all about. So, that's your one free goof up - anymore and you'll be banned.
