share ratio

so does each torrent you download have its own share ratio, which is then averaged into your overall share ratio?

Re: share ratio

Pretty sure that you're ratio on your TTD screen is compiled according to overall GB downloaded and uploaded...

Re: share ratio

If you look at the Peers List in a torrent thread, it will list your ratio on that torrent for the current session that you are on that torrent (ie. if you were on it yesterday and then stopped, then hopped onto the torrent today, it will only show your ratio for today). The ratio under your name in posts and in the upper right corner of the page shows your overall stats. It includes the total amount your have uploaded and downloaded on all torrents.

Re: share ratio

so if my ratio on every torrent i download is above 1, but on one torrent is zero, does tht mean my ratio can never be 1? would i have to seed that torrent until it was 1 as well?

Re: share ratio

If you upload more than a 1:1 on a torrent, then you can make your ratio go up overall.
