Re: Burning DVD torrents to DVD
I just set it to 4.38GB but it's still all the way full...is that the average size of a DVD-R?

Re: Burning DVD torrents to DVD
I tried dragging a vts file to my dvd recorder, it did work. When I DL a torrent thats more than will fit on a SL DVD, how can I split them into 2 DVD's? NERO just wants to compress the files to fit.
Another question, is there a simple way to just extract the audio from the video files w/o burning a dvd? Right now I'm going DL'ed files>DVD(compressed into 1 disk)>rockboxed iriver>Cool Edit Pro. Thanks No members have liked this post.

You will need to select all VOBs (hold Ctrl key), except these which have 0 in the file name, i.e. VTS_01_0.VOB - it's menu. Ifoedit mentioned above can also be used for demuxing. No members have liked this post.

Can I play in preview the entire video torrent before committing it to a burned DVD?
Hi
previously in a question on this thread I was told how to burn my video torrent from a VIDEO_TS folder. However my question today is a little different. I would like preview everything in a video torrent including the menu system before I commit to burning a DVD. In case I would like to make only parts of this VIDEO_TS folder into part of a DVD torrent compilation. I know I can view the complete contents of a commercially purchased DVD, including a workable menu system in, Windows media player. But this doesn't seem to work for a VIDEO_TS folder. So is there a free program that will do this for me. No members have liked this post.

Re: Burning DVD torrents to DVD
windows media player does not have the mpeg2 decoder by default. it will not play dvds without this. if yours does (wmp has been modified), it will play a video_ts folder. (a commercial DVD is exactly the same with a video_ts folder btw)

Re: Burning DVD torrents to DVD
I need a little help.

http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/...ad.php?t=16409 ...for a friend. I did it as mentioned above, copied the VIDEO_TS folder into the software and burned. The DVD will play on his computer but not his DVD player. I'm using the software that came pre-loaded on my CPU; something called "CyberLink Power2Go." I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium. And I'm not very smart, so please type slowly when answering. No members have liked this post.

Re: Burning DVD torrents to DVD
thats a great video..
use your CyberLink Power2Go (nice name..not)> Select burn type = DATA (dvd) add VIDEO_TS folder (and sometimes the EXTRAS_TS) Burn & test on standalone if that is exactly what you've tried before, then try.. Select burn Type = 'Disc copying' then point to the VIDEO_TS folder for source to copy (versions of nero work this way) No members have liked this post.
