Is it allowed? The rules say that aud HD videos must be posted as fully authored Blu-Ray. But I've seen some aud .mkv uploads in HD-video section as well. I have no time or need to create Blu-Rays of my videos. I keep them on HDD as mkv files.

Re: posting aud HD video as mkv?
So... Can I post the video?
Maybe I better contact a moderator myself? And who should it be? No members have liked this post.

Re: posting aud HD video as mkv?
If you can't post 'em here you can share 'em at dimeadozen.org since their rules aren't as strict as they are here.

I have some .mts files that I´m not sure what to do with, have no need or time to get them converted and authored in Blu-Ray.... Does anyone know the easiest way to burn .mts as standard DVD? I did a few with the program I got with the camera, Sony Play Memories Home, but they are somehow copy-protected, very weird?

Re: posting aud HD video as mkv?
Yes. m2ts -> MKVMerge -> mkv. Very fast and no reencoding. Plays fine on my media-player. And MKVMerge can also cut/join files without reencoding. Very handy sometimes.
