Fade out at end of tracks?
Hello -
I've been downloading (?) shows from this site and others for a few years now, and while I know how to do it, I really don't know the terminology, so please forgive me if anything I say here is, well, wrong. I have a MacBook Pro. I use the BitTorrent application (version 7.4.1) to get the files from this site, and then use xACT (version 2.30) to convert to .wav files. I then transfer those to iTunes. I recently downloaded two shows, and all of the tracks seem to fade to silence at the end, which as you know kind of kills the thrill of listening to a recording of a live concert. I have never encountered this before, and can't figure out if there's a problem on my end, or if these fades were put in by the uploader. Does anyone have any advice on how I can remedy this? Thank you very much! No members have liked this post.

Re: Fade out at end of tracks?
Unless it's your media player fading the tracks, there's not much you can do about it. Check iTunes settings or try a different player. You could download and install Audacity and open some of the tracks and look at the end of the tracks waveform and see if there's a fade there...
