Need help cds to flac
Cleaning my apartment I found most of my old recordings (at least back to when I got my current equipment) all on burned cd-r's
What is the best software to rip from (obv not into mp3) to go up here? I have no idea what hard drive the original files are, these were my emergency back-ups (I am the most disorganized person with this) No members have liked this post.

Re: Need help cds to flac
They're probably still fine on the original MD's. Grab a netMD minidisc unit and use webmd.pro with chrome browser (and the drivers it needs) and do some re-rips from the minidiscs instead. It took hackers decades to figure out how to bypass all the bullshit, but finally direct digital rips of original MD recordings is easily possible. Minidiscs tend to be viable lots longer than a cdr burn, so, go grab the originals and do it properly now!

Windows Media Player will work, however EAC is better.
