The Coachella festival is streaming on YouTube this weekend and I'd like to record one of the sets, so I was wondering what is good software to do that?
http://www.youtube.com/user/coachella I looked through the first 10 pages of this forum and didn't find any threads about video (a couple about audio). I'd prefer something free, but I wouldn't mind paying around $20 or $25 for it since I'll probably use it again in the future.

Re: Software for recording live video streams?
smplayer and rtmpdump, but you have to find the stream url by yourself (firebug is a good friend for this).
