Neuros |
The Neuros player is the first in the portable market to be distributed with an open source firmware, permitting users to add functionality as they see fit. Thanks to this, it has been reported that FLAC support is being worked on, and is well on the way to it's first release. This device is now in the same category as the Rio Karma, as being the only handheld portable to support open lossless formats like FLAC. It also supports OGG, one of the best lossy formats, for people who compress their recordings for personal listening.
Head to the Neuros Audio Official Site for some more information about this player, and some of the current and potential features that it has.
