Minidisc source ????

This is from the Hendrix rehearsals in NY 1969.11 & 1969.12. After going through the sticky's here I come to the conclusion that this is Minidisc. Can someone confirm this for me please ? Thank you in advance.

If there not directly from the Masters, then at some point someone could have transfered them to MD?

Yes, that looks like MD.

I agree. If memory serves me correctly, there was a whole load of Hendrix studio material that ended up circulating with MD in the lineage.

I assume this was done in an era where the only choses were DAT or MD ?

^^ probably. Lots of stuff like that.... some DATs ended up 32k, too :rolleyes: - that is especially unfortunate MD up there.. looks like early ATRAC. They did a better job toward the end of ATRAC's life...

Ha, you've forgotten the white elephant that was DCC.
