Can't decide on this if it's lossy or not... the cut can be seen around 30 sec is on the original recording.

Thanks in advance

Here's a much more detailed, 2 sec view..

That's a harsh cut at 18K...but what's that spike at 15K? :hmm:

I guess its not indicating an fm broadcast as it might have in other cases...

Spectral looks OK. Kinduva odd freq. FM will often have very little above 15K, with a 19K pilot tone.

Guess it's OK.

TV has a pilot tone at 15.75 kHz or so.
Those spectrals only show up to 7 kHz. However, it looks ok-ish to me.

While tryin' to learn how to see these things by myself, I made the proper view on another track... Thanks for all the help ;)

Those blockies make it look lossy.

that spike is too low for FM radio, but could be the noise from a CRT (just under 16kHz) which is commonly seen on analog transfers to a computer. If someone subsequently speed corrected the recording, the spike would appear slightly lower.

Thanks jameskg for telling!

With GN'R boots its always problematic to get it without lossy heritage.
