i'm assuming by "vid" you mean DVD

first you need to demux, which leaves you with the audio track [ac3, PCM, etc] & video track [m2v] -- MPEGStreamclip (http://www.squared5.com/) is free and does a fine job

next, take the m2v file and the new audio track and re-sync in your DVD authoring program [DVD Studio Pro is what i'm familiar with, guessing you can do this in iDVD as well]...build the new menus, etc. & yer done

PM me if ya need any help

now a more important question. will my macbook be able to handle that audio stripping?

it shouldn't have a problem with the demuxing part, as long as you have sufficient RAM [512MB should be enough]

however, if i remember correct the Macbook is like the Mini in that it uses the Intel GMA graphics card [it'll say in yer System Profile]...if so, DVD Studio Pro won't run on the comp...iDVD will, so you might have to re-sync/author using that
