can't tell much from this... please set your spectral view to show up to 22k and post a screencap of that.

Some sort of early, lossy format?? A bad EQ job after the recording??

Even "good" MP3s, today, looks lots better than that.

BTW Jobats, if you want to do a spectral view in Audacity, click the little black inverted triangle to the left of the waveform, just to the right of where it says "03 Color Me" in the first shot you posted.
