What's happening here?
Not lossy, I presume but it looks like a MD superimposed on a full spectrum (is that a good way to describe it?) i.e. lossless recording, if you get my drift. Or is it a high quality MD, shit I'm just guessing, I don't even know if there is such a thing.

just looks like pretty normal MD (SP)

Thanks five, I've looked at the screenshots that range_hood posted many times. What prompted me to post these was the fact that the upper frequencies are such a dark shade of grey. The FA exhibits only a gradual decline not a sharp drop.
