I still use Nero. I like it the best. There are MANY alternatives. It may be possible to download a trial version to see if you like it.

Everyone....do yourselves a favor. Go out and buy the latest version of Nero. $70 or whatever....it will save you a lot of hassle and is well worth the $70 it's running.

Not sure how it's done but Sonic claims

Media Flexibility - DigitalMedia is compatible with video data from virtually any source, from the latest DV camera to decades-old Beta home movie tapes. You can even import video from DVDs created using other DVD burning programs.

Help with Nero OEM Suite

I just got this program in the mail, but I can't figure out how to burn the video files I downloaded (ie phish shows). I've looked at the NERO Burning ROM guide, but it isn't much help. Can anyone point me to an FAQ site, or guide me through how to use nero startsmart?

Re: Help with Nero OEM Suite

start nero rom.

go to the tab that says dvd.

select DVD VIDEO

it automatically makes a video ts folder, just dump the entire contents of the video ts folder of the show you downloaded in there.

Re: Help with Nero OEM Suite

Are you talking about startsmart of neroexpress?

Start Smart...there should be a list of programs available on the left hand side. Find Burning Rom and go from there, like toto suggested.

Neroexpress...upper right...select DVD from the drop down. Then you're going to want to select "DVD-Video Files" > Add > select the Video_TS folder

Re: How to burn dvds over 4 gigs?

I think you can use DVD2one to shrink the DVD and then burn it with Toast. Check out videohelp.org. They may have a guide/tutorial over there on how to do it.
