You don't. You burn .wav to CD. You have to convert .shn to .wav through a program such as Trader's Little Helper or mkwACT.

burn it to cd using nero burning rom. a data cd. i do it all the time. usually back all up with dvd to get more on it, but cd will work also, just can't play it back, for filing or back up only.

I do. I use Burrrn. Add the .shn files to the Burrrn window and click to write a redbook CD.
