why am I losing my torrent?

After about half n hour of downloading from a seed rich torrent I find myself connected to no seeders or peers. Is there a setting that is cutting me off. What can I do to keep connected to seeds? I realize I might be a total idiot but if I am please take pity.

Re: why am I losing my torrent?

What client are you using? Are you downloading other shows at the same time? You are firewalled, but that wouldn't explain you suddenly not being connected. So your client is suddenly showing you actually not connected to any seeds/leechers or you are suddenly not downloading/uploading?

Re: why am I losing my torrent?

I am using burst. It just tells me there are no seeds and then I reconnect and there are a ton of seeds.

Re: why am I losing my torrent?

You might try a different bittorrent client. Many people like utorrent and also just the basic bittorrent client. (See the software FAQ for links).

Re: why am I losing my torrent?

burst! is not allowed at many sites, so it is a good idea to change!

I prefer utorrent

hope this helps
