Can you be firewalled one second and not another?

earlier it said I was firewalled. I havent been in months and now I look and the red firewall is gone. Does anyone know what is going on

are you on a network.... is your ip dynamically assigned on your LAN? i suppose it's possible that you have your local ip set through your router and every time your ip comes back around to the number that you put in the router you would become un-firewalled. Otherwise it's not possible.

Sometimes you can get a 'false positive' if the server is a bit busy when you initially connect. The solution is to stop your torrent and then restart it (if it is several torrents, restart them about one second apart from each other). Or, you can just ignore it if you are positive that you shouldn't be firewalled.
