Re: remastering HELP

Audacity is by far the simplest, most non-technical audio program

i prefer Ableton Live for mixing live shows, but other options i've used [or seen used] would be Logic, Protools, Cubase, Cakewalk, Digital Performer, Audition...many DAWs out there today, which is best depends on yer needs & $$$ to spend

Talking Re: remastering HELP

well these tapes were made in the 90's using an aiwa tape deck and stereo mic - some shows with the right conditions actually are very strong just have some bass and some EQ issues ?? not really sure how to start tweeking them to make them a bit better - I think as far as aud. recordings go they are better than some i have heard in the past, thanks for the list - I will get started and see where it takes me -
