Icon4 A weird failed hash check not on my end?

trying to finish downloading something, getting this in uTorrent's logger:
Quote:
[2011-08-18 23:36:23] *** QOTSA 04-13-05 vancouver: PIECE 1269 FAILED HASH CHECK
[2011-08-18 23:36:23] Banned 66.203.219.48:1935: [µTorrent 2.0.4 (100.0)]: -UT2040-RTW%95%c9q%af%3c%20273 (6.94 MB downloaded, 64.0 kB bad)
[2011-08-18 23:57:52] Unbanned 66.203.219.48:54438
It keeps banning the one seeder - I keep un-banning, it keeps failing.

Is it me? Is it them?

Re: A weird failed hash check not on my end?

It's on the other side. It looks like that IP (Cabanon) is sending some bad/corrupted blocks of data and your client bans that IP. If you keep unbanning the IP you can get very far with downloading, but you'll never reach a full 100% and you'll be constantly unbanning (like you probably already noticed). I'm afraid you'll need another seeder to fully complete your download and I'm sorry but I can't help in this case. Good luck! Cheers J.
