To load an operating system or program? What are you trying to get to load?

Re: Make a bootable DVD

Where are you sourcing the .iso file from? If you have downloaded Windows 10 from the Windows Store, they have a free program that will allow you to properly burn a bootable DVD from the .iso file on their site. You also have the option of creating a bootable USB drive as well. If your copy of Windows was not "officially" obtained from them, then I'm not sure how to set it up so your computer will read it.

Do you have the original windows ID tag? Should be somewhere on the back or side. It's about the size of a large Bandaid . . .

Re: Make a bootable DVD

Go to Majorgeeks and download the appropriate Iso image on to an external Hard Drive. Use Power Iso to open the file and have the serial number from the computer ready to input when prompted. DVD is too cumbersome and a rather long process.

Re: Make a bootable DVD

Look hard at the tower, laptop, whatever and there is a serial number assigned to that piece of hardware, you need that # to verify it's Microsofts product. Otherwise, you can waste your time going about it your way. Which doesn't sound like its working. . .

Try this and see if it works :https://www.recoverywindowspassword....-from-iso.html
If you still fail , you'd better make a bootable USB .
