New To Audio Trading, Some Advice Please

Whenever I would download audio torrents i would convert them to mp3, put them on my ipod, and then delete all the files from my harddrive as well as the flac/shn. But now I would like to get into trading stuff but all I have from before are some shows in MP3 for my own personal use, which i obviously can't trade.

How should I go about storing my shows?

Lets say i download a torrent. I would like to burn the files it downloads to a CD (or a few shows to DVD) as data to store. Then if I am to trade with someone, ask them if they perfer data or audio discs. Then I can copy the files to my computer, and burn as either Audio/Data.

Is that an ok way to do things?
Also, this will allow me to hop back on a torrent that needs some seeder help if i copy the files back onto my harddrive, right?

Thanks in advance.

That's exactly what you should do. I can get several shows archived in flac/shn onto a DVD. Just save the complete folder you got (make sure you keep the text file and md5s also).

Thanks. And also, when I am burning everything, do I have to burn my .torrent file too?

no, you don't have to burn the .torrent file as well, but it doesn't hurt if you do.
